最新テクノロジーを駆使したデジタルアートで知られるチームラボが、長居植物園を舞台に夜の常設展をオープン！
広さ約 24 万㎡、約 1,200 種類の植物が生い茂り、草花や木々が季節と共に移り変わります。
「チームラボ ボタニカルガーデン 大阪」では、昼間は植物園である場所が、夜になるとそのまま作品空間となり、その作品空間は、自然の中で吹く風や雨、そして、この場所に訪れる鳥や人々のふるまいの影響を受けながらインタラクティブに変容し、人々を自然とともに作品の一部、そして、長い時間の一部にしていきます。それにより、作品と人々と自然、自分と他者、過去、現在、未来が境界なく連続していきます。
自然のふるまいや人々の存在によってインタラクティブに変化し、過去、現在、未来が交差するアート空間に変えていきます。
Kaiyukan is an aquarium that faithfully recreates the natural environment of the Pacific Ocean—the world’s largest ocean—and its surrounding waters. It features large tanks that recreate specific regions of the Circum-Pacific Volcanic Belt, which encircles the Pacific Ocean. The tanks within the facility are arranged so that each corresponds to an actual geographical location in the Pacific Ocean.Starting with the “Pacific Ocean” tank in the center of the building, where whale sharks swim gracefully, the aquarium houses and displays approximately 30,000 creatures representing 620 species across various tanks, including the “Japanese Forest” tank with its flowing waterfall and lush vegetation, and the “Tasman Sea” tank, home to bottlenose dolphins. Other popular exhibits include the “Jellyfish Galaxy,” which explores the allure of jellyfish, and the “Arctic Circle” tank, home to ringed seals and other species.
